Low flow rate
The paddle wheel flowmeter for continuous flow measurement is especially designed for use in neutral, slightly aggressive, solid free liquids. The Bürkert designed fitting system ensures simple installation of the devices into all pipes from DN20 to DN400. The flowmeter produces a frequency pulse signal, proportional to the flow rate, which can easily be transmitted and processed by a Bürkert transmitter/controller.
The paddle-wheel flow sensor for continuous flow measurement is especially designed for use in neutral, slightly aggressive, solid freeliquids. The sensor is made up of a fitting (S012) and an electronic module (SE11) connected together with screws. The Burkert designed fitting system ensures simple installation of the sensor into all pipes from DN06 to DN65. It can also be installed in fluid block systems. The sensor produces a frequency pulse signal, proportional to the flow rate, which can easily be transmitted and processed by a Burkert remote transmitter/indicator (type 8025/8032). The sensor is available in two versions :- with one pulse output: transistor NPN- with two pulse outputs: transistor NPN and PNP.
The paddle wheel flow meter in its magnetic version is especially designed for use with neutral, slightly aggressive, solid free liquids. And for use with IR transparent liquids in its optic measuring version. The 8012 consists of a fitting (S012) and an electronic module (SE12). The Bürkert designed fitting system ensures simple installation into all pipes from DN06…DN65. It can also be integrated in customer-specific block systems. Depending on the electronics module, the 8012 has a pulse output which generates a frequency proportional to the flow rate or which can be used as a switch output and create a 4…20 mA current output signal.

This flowmeter/threshold detector with display is designed for use in clear, neutral or aggressive liquids. The switching outputs enable the direct switching of valves and the establishment of a simple On/Off control circuit within a monitoring system. The switching points can be configured with the 3 keys directly at the display. The 8032 measuring device (SE32 transmitter + S030 Inline sensor-fitting) is available with freely configurable switching outputs (transistor or relay) or with 4…20 mA process value output. The transmitter can be fitted to the Inline sensor fitting via a bayonet catch without having to open the pipeline.
The Type 8035 flowmeter or batch controller is specially designed for use in neutral, slightly aggressive, solid free liquids. The flowmeter or batch controller is made up of a compact sensor-fitting with paddle wheel (S030) and a transmitter (SE35) quickly and easily connected together by a bayonet catch. The Burkert designed sensor-fitting system ensures simple installation of the devices into all pipelines from DN06…DN65. The flowmeter with paddle wheel sensor is available in two versions: - standard signal output or - battery powered indicator/totalizer version without output.
The flowmeter Type 8036 is a compact device, specially designed for measuring the flow rate in solid-free liquids, in a variety of applications (water, waste water monitoring, chemical processing, etc.). Type 8036 is available with: - 2 configurable outputs: one transistor output (NPN) and one 4...20 mA current output (2-wire) - 3 configurable outputs: two transistor outputs (NPN/PNP) and one 4...20 mA current output (2-wire) - 4 configurable outputs: two transistor outputs (NPN/PNP) and two 4...20 mA current outputs (3-wire). Type 8036 converts the measured signal, displays different values in different units (if display/configuration module mounted) and computes the output signals, which are provided via one or two M12 fixed connectors. Thanks to 1 or 2 transistor outputs, the flowmeter can be used to switch a solenoid valve, activate an alarm and, thanks to 1 or 2 current outputs, establish one or two control loops.
This intelligent controller with an extra-large display is specially designed to switch a valve and to establish a monitoring system or an On/Off control loop. Switching points can be programmed with the 3-key keypad under the display and the connection to the process in the piping is done with standard fittings. The version with a frequency output makes it possible to transmit the paddle-wheel rotation speed (2 pulses/paddle-wheel rotation) directly to a PLC.
The compact low-flow sensor Type 8031 with paddle-wheel and Hall sensor is specially designed for use in aggressive and solid-free liquids. The particular cost attractive measuring principle is based on a local flow velocity measurement. The sensor produces a flow proportional frequency signal which can easily be transmitted and processed. We recommend here particularly the connection to the Burkert Universal transmitter Type 8025 (see separate data sheet).
