The pneumatically operated diaphragm valve with stainless steel actuators fulfils the demands of tough process environments. Cast or forged body in high quality stainless steel have excellent cleanability and surface qualities that are required in pharmaceutical, biopharma, cosmetic or food and beverage industry. The stainless steel actuator has been designed for tough applications. Laser welding ensures it is both cleanable and robust. With a ducted exhaust air port, the actuator can be operated isolated from the environment to guarantee an optimum life time and hygiene. The trusted Bürkert diaphragm materials are optimised for a long life time and comply to USP Class IV, FDA and EC Directive. Type 2105 - Tank bottom diaphragm valve with pneumatic actuator in stainless steel (Type ELEMENT) for decentralised automation


The externally controlled diaphragm valve Type 2105 consists of a pneumatically operated piston actuator, a diaphragm and a tank bottom valve body. The proven and robust actuator with stainless steel housing ensures use in hygienic or aggressive ambient conditions. The flow-efficient valve bodies with little dead space enable high flow rates and a wide range of possible uses. The valve body and the diaphragm are available in all common materials and variants. The actuator has a compact, autoclavable design with a large stainless steel housing and gap-free seals. The integration of automation units Type ELEMENT is possible in all configuration levels (can be retrofitted); a fieldbus interface can also be integrated. An explosion-proof ATEX / IECEx device variant is available. It is a compact, smooth-surfaced and highly integrated system consisting of a valve and an automation unit with integrated pilot air ducts (no intake of ambient air). Type 8801 - ELEMENT On/Off Valve Systems with decentralized automation


The design of the System Type 8801 On/Off ELEMENT enables the easy integration of automation modules whether they are electrical/optical position feedback, pneumatic control units, an optional integrated fieldbus interface or even an explosion proof control head. The fully integrated system with valve and automation system has a compact and smooth design, integrated pneumatic lines, IP65/67/NEMA4X protection class and superior chemical resistance.

Type 0262 - Pneumatically operated 2/2 way Valve


The externally controlled valve is pneumatically operated. It consists of a diaphragm actuator and a 2-way valve body. The diaphragm actuator moves a spindle with valve disc against a spring and switches the valve. The spindle is designed glandless with double seal. The actuator body is made out of epoxy resin.

Type 0263 - Pneumatically operated 2/2-way valve with separating diaphragm


The externally controlled straight way valve is pneumatically operated. It consists of a diaphragm actuator and a 2-way valve body. Between the valve body and the actuator, there is a hermetically sealed diaphragm. The diaphragm actuator moves a spindle with valve disc against a spring and switches the valve. The spindle is designed glandless with a double seal. The actuator housing is made out of epoxy resin.

Type 3234 - Manually operated T Valve


The Burkert Zero Deadleg T Valve is designed for control of ultra pure, sterile, aggressive or abrasive fluids. Enables especially optimal sampling, draining or diverting of critical process fluids. The valve body is machined from a single piece of block material (monoblock– no weld seam). The high quality diaphragms separate hermetically critical fluids from the actuator. The manual actuator in PPS or stainless steel can be sterilized.

Type 3235 - Manually operated Tank Bottom Valve


The Bürkert Tank Bottom Valve system is designed for control of ultra pure, sterile, aggressive or abrasive fluids. Enables especially optimal filling and emptying vessels with less dead leg. The valve body consists of a block with no weld seam, machined out of high quality stainless steel. The tank bottom valve has two welding bevels to ease the welding and valve positioning operations. The high quality diaphragms separate hermetically critical fluids from the actuator. The manual actuator in PPS or stainless steel can be sterilized.

The 3233 manually-operated diaphragm valve in compact form consists of a flow-optimised cast stainless steel body with various surface finishes, a diaphragm and a manual actuator.The material combinations are selectable. The diaphragm is both a switch element and a sealing element to the outside. It can be easily replaced. The flow can be continually adjusted with the manually actuator. The valves have no dead volume and can be mounted to be self-draining. This enables high flow capacities and a variety of applications to be realized. The valves are autoclavable.

Type 3232 - Manually operated 2-way Diaphragm Valve with plastic body


Manually-operated diaphragm valves in compact model consisting of plastic bodies, diaphragm seal, PPS bonnet and PPS handwheel. The diaphragm is both a switching element and a seal element towards the outside, and is easily replaced. The flow can be continually adjusted with the handwheel. The valves have no dead volume and can be mounted to be self-draining.

Type 3323 - Electromotive 2-way diaphragm valve


The innovative Bürkert diaphragm valve Type 3323 is the solution when it comes to on/off control in areas with media contact such as the food and beverage, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and biopharma industry. The electromotive actuator with ball screw shuts the valve quasi delay free with – for electromotive actuators – a unique high control speed within 1.5 to 4.5 seconds. If necessary, the safety position can be realised with optional energy pack in case of power failure. Pressure fluctuations or shocks in the medium are not transferred to the valve position. Furthermore, many helpful functions for process control, valve diagnostics and preventive maintenance are available. Besides the mechanical position indicator, a 360° LED illuminated ring displays the valve position and information about warnings and errors. Various communication standards up to cutting-edge fieldbus systems are available. Trusted valve bodies and diaphragms ensure media separation with minimum empty space and are easy to clean. Type 3363 - Electromotive 2 way diaphragm control valve


The innovative diaphragm control valve Type 3363 is the solution when it comes to demanding control tasks in areas with media contact such as the Food and Beverage, Cosmetic, Pharma and Biopharma Industry. The modular accessory program includes different solutions for feedback, stroke limit and actuation of valves.
