Type 8685 - Control- and feedback head for integrated mounting on Robolux valves Type 2036

Type 8681 - Control head for decentralized automation of hygienic process valves


The control head Type 8681 is optimized for decentralised automation of hygienic process valves. Thanks to its universal adapter it can be combined with all normal commercial butterfly valves, ball valves, single and double seated valves. With a decentralised automation concept, the control head takes over all pneumatic actuation, feedback and diagnostic functions including field bus communication. The housing is easy to clean and features proven IP protection and chemically resistant materials for use in hygienic processing in food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. Depending on the process valve type, up to 3 pneumatic actuator chambers can be controlled independently from each other. The switching speeds of both movement directions can be set separately. A built-in check valve prevents incorrect switching of process valve actuator chambers which could result from back-pressure. The process valve switching positions are detected by an inductive, analogue position sensor and reported to the PLC system. Up to 3 switching points can be adjusted automatically by a Teach-In function. Additionally a fourth switching position can be read in and fed back via an external inductive proximity switch. The coloured status display signals the particular process valve switching position or indicates a diagnostic function such as maintenance required status or fault conditions. The pilot valves are equipped with a manual override. If the device housing is closed, the patented magnetically encoded manual override tool can be used to open the process valve from the exterior. Bus communication is available with AS-interface or DeviceNet.

Type 1061 - Accessory for pneumatic rotary actuators


Type 1061 combines the function of a position feedback and a solenoid valve in one box. It can be used with pneumatic rotary actuators of type 2051 and 2052, which are part of the system type 8805. Type 1061 is available in different variations of limit switches (micro switches, inductive sensors) and solenoid valves (3/2 way, 5/2 way or without solenoid valve). Next to this, an ATEX version and variants with ASi fieldbus connections are also available. The robust and compact positioner is designed to a standardisation acc. to IEC 65034-6-1 or VDI/VDE 3845 (IEC 60534-6-2) for assembly with linear and rotary actuators. In addition, the remote version with the displacement position sensor can be combined with Bürkert process control valves The setpoint setting for the electro-pneumatic digital Positioner SideControl BASIC occurs using a standard signal 4…20mA or by bus as an option. In addition there is a binary input and an optional analogue feedback available. The valve opening is signalled by a mechanical indicator element and the device status is shown on three coloured LEDs. All the operational elements are found in the housing . The start-up happens automatically, and directly at the device the following functions can be activated through DIP switches: - Close tight function - Inversion of the operating direction of the setpoint signal - Characteristic curves selection - Switching between manual and automatic mode. The remote sensor Type 8798 is a digital non-contact position sensor for use on pneumatically actuated modulating actuators. This Remote Sensor is available in two versions; as linear and as rotative position sensor and is used in combination with the Positioner Type 8791/8792 and Process Controller Type 8793 (remote version). The linear Remote Sensor can be combined with our process valves ELEMENT Typ 210x/230X and CLASSIC Type 27xx Series. Whereas the rotative Remote Sensor can be mounted on linear actuators in accordance with NAMUR recommendation (DIN IEC 534-6) or rotary actuators in accordance with VDI/VDE 3845.

The digital electropneumatic positioner SideControl can be operated with the usual current and voltage standard signals and can also be equipped with the fieldbus interface. The Positioner is equipped with additional diagnostic functions to monitor the state of the valve. Through status signals, valve diagnostic messages are transmitted according to NAMUR NE 107 recommendations and recorded as history. With the diagnosis, the operating conditions of the control valve can be monitored. This allows planned maintenance and optimises plant availability. Type 8611 - eCONTROL - Universal controller


Thanks to its compact design, the universal 8611 controller is especially designed for compact control system applications. It is compatible and tested with all Bürkert proportional valves and sensors and can be connected with every non-Bürkert Control valve by standard signal (4…20 mA, 0…10 V or PWM-output). The Proportional & Integral (PI) process controller is equipped with many additional functions. The process value feedback can be supplied as one of three analogue inputs; a standard signal (4…20 mA/0…10 V), frequency or RTD signal; directly to the universal controller. The process switching points can be set via a 4…20 mA or 0…10 V signal or with the keypad. For temperature specific control, it is possible to set a cascade structure with both temperature and flow as inputs. Thanks to the proportional control capabilities, a wide range of control functions can be performed in a variety of liquids and gas mediums.

Type 8635 - Digital electropneumatic Positioner SideControl


The SideControl Positioner Type 8635 is an electropneumatic positioner for pneumatically actuated process valves with linear or part-turn actuators. It is excuted in two conductor technology. Signal processing, control and actuation of the internal positioning system are accomplished with microprocessor controlled electronics. The software function Autotune implemented therein enables automatic adaptation of the positioner to the control valve in use. The positioner is parametrized and operated comfortably via three operating keys and a plain-text display. It is possible to set up a decentralized control system if a process controller with PID characteristics is used. As an option, the SideControl Positioner Type 8635 can be supplied with approval for use in the Ex area (Zone 1) according to ATEX. Because of its compact and robust design, the housing is suitable for use in chemical and process engineering.

AirLINE Ex Type 8650 is a modular electrical and pneumatic automation system that controls complex processes in hazardous areas (Zone1 / 21). Type 8640 Modular valve island for pneumatics


The 8640 valve unit system is designed to solve diverse and complex control problems due to its systematic modular construction and combination of pneumatic and electrical interfaces. By putting together a row of pneumatic modules with different numbers of valves, 2 to 24 valve functionalities may be realized on one valve unit. Electrical connectivity is achieved by either fieldbus interfaces, common connection (parallel connection technique) or multipin interfaces. The valves allow different applications to be covered. Type 8614 Pneumatic control cabinet solutions for hygienic process environments


Burkert has developed ready-to-mount, hygienic control cabinets with standardised connection options for many applications in the food and beverage industry.
